Guided Imagery is a therapeutic tool with many benefits that support peace of mind and well-being. When creating a Custom Guided Imagination Meditation for you, Cindie will work with your personal interests. By following Cindie’s voice and narration, her intention is to evoke your imagination and your brain’s sensory perception. When you use your active imagination in this way, Cindie will be able to guide your mind through a pleasant, soothing, and peaceful imaginary experience that has physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits.

How this 2-hour session works:

Cindie will come to your home and talk with you for a while to discover how she can help you. Based on what is discussed, Cindie will then create and guide you on a 15 – 30 minute imaginary voyage with detailed descriptions of the on-going settings that include beautiful images, relaxing colors, pleasant smells, charming flavors, soothing sounds, comforting sensations, and a vivid description of the qualities felt and expressed there.

Here are some of the questions she might ask you:

  • What qualities are the most important to you at this moment (e.g. strength, peace, well-being, spiritual connection, love, etc.)?
  • Describe moments of profound peace and how they felt to you.
  • Describe a place that is beautiful and peaceful for you.
  • What thoughts arise when you contemplate peace and beauty?
  • What feelings, emotions and sensations arise when you contemplate peace and beauty?
  • What would it feel like to be comfortable and without pain?
  • Describe moments where you felt a connection to something greater than yourself.
  • Describe a place that was special in your life.
  • Is there somewhere that you always wanted to go?
  • What imaginary places did you visit as a child?
  • What do you need more of physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and/or socially?

Before Cinde begins to take you on a custom guided imaginary journey that matches your interests, she will help you get as comfortable as possible in a sitting or lying down position with your eyes closed or open with a soft gaze. Then Cindie will ask you to begin the journey by paying attention to your breathing and following her voice. As you listen to her soothing voice telling you the story of where you are going, you will follow what she is saying with your imagination.

  • Receptive images

During the voyage, you will enter into a state of deep relaxation.

Cindie will also record the guided meditation during this session for you to replay anytime when she’s not there.
